Bees are a recurring motif in many of Timorous Beasties’ most popular patterns. We have always loved these humble insects, which were used by historical figures including Napoleon Bonaparte as an emblem of industry, diligence and orderliness. In this all-over pattern, a hand-drawn image of a honey bee is repeated and layered to create a buzzing swarm that resembles an abstract texture when viewed from a distance.
