Marquess Garden is created from an intricate floral shawl design dating from 1977, representing the more heavily patterned Arts and Crafts style of design in the Liberty archive. On Liberty's Cotton Velvet, a high-percentage cotton velvet containing a small amount of polyester fibre for structural stability and exceptional abrasion rating. This design is also available in other fabrics: Marquess Garden in Chesham Sateen and Marquess Garden in Ladbroke Linen
