But this is not just any wallpaper, this is made from the sustainable material cork. Crafted from the bark of the cork oak, the trees do not have to be felled, and instead are naturally stripped, each oak able to be used for over 200 years. Our cork trees are farmed in southern Portugal, in a network of small farms supporting the local economy. The trees play an important part in the local ecology and act as a natural barrier for desertification.
