Chinoiserie Black Mora Clock
Antique Mora Clock with gold chinoiserie detailing on a matt black relief.
There is a carved crown detail to the top of the hood which also has gold detailing. The chinoiserie style of this clock was popular in Sweden during the 18th century although few good examples of this style on Mora clocks now exist. This clock has very classic Mora clock proportions.
This clock has its original works dating from its century of manufacture as well its cast iron weights and pendulum. The clock comes complete with the brass winding key.
