How to navigate the catalogue

To begin, click on one of the categories on the left hand side of the screen. A list of subcategories will be displayed complete with pictures. Click on a subcategory to explore further. As you descend through the categories you will see a "breadcrumb trail" displayed below the current category title eg. Bedroom > Beds & Coronas > Beds. You can click on these links to back up if you wish.

Once you have reached the bottom of a subcategory the products within it will be displayed five at a time. Click on the numbers below the breadcrumb trail or the prev/next links to see more products. When you see a product you like, click on its picture to view a larger image and details on materials and dimensions.

You can use the search function to find specific items within a category or range or to display all the items in a category or range.

To search for a specific item simply type it into the search field and then select a category or range to search within. eg. type "cabinets" and choose "bedroom" to view all bedroom cabinets. Results are displayed five per page. Click on the numbers above the product images or the prev/next links to see more products. When you see a product you like, click on its picture to view a larger image and details on materials and dimensions.

To display all the items in a category or range choose a "search by" option without entering anything in the search field. eg. select "Rococo" to view all Rococo products in the catalogue, regardless of category.

Site accessibility features and accesskey list

The Gustavian site uses modern web design techniques to enable the majority of web users to browse the site regardless of their browser, web platform or personal disability. One of the features we employ are accesskeys. These are shortcut keys that allow physically impaired users to skip content easily. Our accesskeys are implemented according to UK government recommendations and are as follows:

Please note that accesskeys are implemented differently from browser to browser. In Internet Explorer for Windows you must press the ALT key and the accesskey together to select the link, then press enter to activate it. In Internet Explorer for Macintosh you must press the CTRL key instead. For details of how to use accesskeys in other browsers, please consult the developer's website.
